Kaduna State University Post-UTME Screening Registration for 2014/2015

This is to inform all candidates who chose Kaduna State University in the 2014 UTME and scored 180/or above that the 2014/2015 post-UTME Screening Exercise of the school has been announced. The mode of the screening exercise will be Computer Based Test (CBT).


How to Apply:
Interested candidates are to visit the university website at www.kasu.edu.ng and select POST-UTME REGISTRATION to fill the applicant profile with a valid e-mail address. An alert will be sent to the applicant with the username and password for the portal login. Candidates are then required to login to the KASU post-UTME portal to fill and submit the registration form.

Applicants are then required to click on proceed for payment to make an online payment of N2,200.00 (Being cost of 2014 UTME screening) with a valid ATM card (Debit Card). If payment is successful, applicants will be allowed to print photo card with information on date , time and venue of the screening examination.

SCREENING DATE
The screening exercise will take place from Thursday 7th to Thursday 14th August, 2014. Applicants should report at the Science Lecture Theatre, Faculty of Science, Main Campus, Kaduna State University, Tafawa Balewa Way, Kaduna at least one hour before the scheduled time as indicated on the candidate’s slip.

NOTE: GSM phones are not allowed during the exam. Any candidate who fails to register or fails to appear for the screening exam on the stipulated date will not be considered for admission.

The Polytechnic Ibadan Post-UTME Screening and Registration for 2014/2015 Deadline Postponed

The polytechnic Ibadan has postponed the screening exercise till further notice. The examination was scheduled for Monday 21th July 2014 to Saturday 26th July 2014 but candidates that registered late were given several different dates.

The affected candidates visited the school to register their complaint and were addressed by one of the I.C.T officials whom apologized to the candidates on behalf of the school management.

According to the Official the date has been postponed due to the fact that most candidates have not registered; some parents and guardians of candidates have not been paid their monthly salary and they are trying to be considerate.

He stated that school management sent sms to candidates through their mobile numbers and email addresses.For candidates that didn't receive any such sms or mail, the ICT official said it could be as a result of incorrect phone numbers or a problem with the network server.

He further advised candidates to check the school's website for more information as they will be asked to re-print their slip which will contain new examination dates.

This will equally be sent to their phone numbers and email addresses.

If you have not registered before and you wish to do so the portal as been re-opened and registration continues.

Bowen University Supplementary Admission Screening Exercise for 2014/2015

Bowen University, Iwo, Osun State will be conducting its Supplementary Admission Screening Exercise for candidates seeking admission into the University for the 2014/2015 Academic Session, on Saturday, 2nd August, 2014.

1.ELIGIBILITY

ii. Take the pre-application slip to any branch of the under listed banks for the payment of N 6, 500.00 (six thousand, five hundred naira) only:

Colleges of Education of Academic Staff Union (COEASU) Suspends Strike

The strike action embarked by The Colleges of Education of Academic Staff Union (COEASU) for about seven months now has been called-off.

This followed the meeting held today between COEASU and the Minister of education, Mallam Ibrahim Shekarau.

The COEASU Chairman, Mr Emmanuel Asagha directed all Colleges of Education Lecturers nationwide to resume work next week Monday.

According to him, the decision to call-off the strike is as a result of the promise made by the FG to meet the demands of the union in three months.

Ekiti State University, EKSU Post-UTME Cut-off mark, Screening and Registration for 2014/2015

This is to inform all UTME candidates who applied for admission into Ekiti State University, Ado-Ekiti for the 2014/2015 academic session that the screening form is now available.

The screening is open to candidates who chose EKSU in the 2014 UTME and scored 180/or above. The university will also give consideration to UTME candidates who did not choose EKSU but obtained 180 and above in their exam.

EKSU will admit only candidates that made at least 5 credit passes in SSCE/NECO/WASC/NABTEB in the relevant subjects at two sittings only.

How to Apply for EKSU Post-UTME:
  • Interested candidates are to pay the sum of Four Thousand Naira (4,000.00) only covering registration, processing and downloading of past questions to any branch of the following banks through e-tranzact platform and obtain a confirmation code which will be on the e-tranzact receipt; Access Bank, Ecobank, Enterprise Bank, First Bank, GTB, Wema Bank, Zenith Bank, UBA Plc.
  • The confirmation codes will be used to register online by the candidates. Candidates can also pay directly via the University portal using ATM cards and SMS alerts will be sent to the candidate containing the confirmation code.
  • Candidates are required to log on to www.eksu.ed.ng with their JAMB reg number and confirmation code, upload a 1″ x 1″ coloured passport photograph in red background and JPEG format only. Preview, confirm, submit and immediately print-out an acknowledgement slip.

SCREENING DATE
EKSU post utme 2014 screening exam will hold between Monday 4th to Friday 8th August, 2014 at the university campus. The exam will be Computer Based. Candidates are advised to re-visit the eksu website on the closing day of application to print out their allotted time and exact date of examination.

Candidates are to come for the screening with the following;
a. JAMB Registration Slip.
b. Acknowledgment Slip printed out from the University portal.
c. 1″x1″ recent passport with red background.
Candidates are to report at the University Auditorium on the day of the exam for necessary briefing. Failure to attend the screening exam will cause the candidate to forfeit admission.

Federal University of Technology, Minna, FUTMINNA Commencement of SIWES 2014

This is to inform the University community and the general public, particularly students that the Year 2014 SIWES programme for Schools of Environmental Technology (SET), Engineering and E ngineering Technology (SEET), Entrepreneurship and Management Technology (SEMT), Information and Communication Technology (SICT), Natural and Applied Sciences (SNAS) and Technology Education (STE) will commences by Monday, July 14, 2014 and to end by Monday, December 29, 2014.

The programme is to last for six months which can be translated to twenty-four (24) weeks.

Students of School of Agriculture and Agricultural Technology (SAAT) have been on the programme since three months ago. The SAAT SIWES programme is for nine months translated to thirty-six (36) weeks.

The University will resume on Monday, December 1, 2014 for year 2014/2015 academic session and the SIWES would not have ended. The SIWES is to last for Six (6) months.

However, since the registration is on line the students can have their registration done online while still on the SIWES and resume back to school for manual registration and lectures.

Anambra State University, Uli (ANSU) Post-UTME Cut-off Mark, Screening and Registration for 2014/2015

This is to inform all candidates who candidates who chose the Anambra State University and scored 180 or above in the 2014 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examinations (UTME) conducted by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) that the university shall conduct her 2014/2015 Post-UTME Screening exercise on 7th August, 2014.

HOW TO APPLY FOR THE ANSU POST-UTME SCREENING:
  • Candidates are required to register on-line on payment of One Thousand Naira (N 1,000.00) screening test fee, Two Thousand Seven Hundred Naira (N2,700.00) processing fee and Bank charges and One Thousand Two Hundred Naira (N1,200) for accessing of result, totaling Four Thousand, Nine Hundred Naira (N4,900.00) only.
  • Candidates are required to pay to any branch of these Banks: Ecobank, Fidelity Bank and Zenith Bank.
  • Access pin codes for authorized login into the University website www.ansu.edu.ng will be issued to Candidates following payment at the branches of any of the banks listed above. Candidates are to upload their recent passport photographs while registering online.
  • Candidates whose photograph are not scanned on their registration forms may not be allowed to write the screening test. Results will be uploaded on the school website.

The Nigeria LNG Undergraduate Scholarship Scheme started in 1998 as part of Nigeria LNG Limited’s Corporate Social Responsibility to Nigerian Citizens to enhance human capacity development. From inception, about 2,500 beneficiaries have benefited from the scheme.

Entry Requirements ND (Regular/Evening)Programme:

i. Admission is through UTME and you must score a minimum of 150 and above in the just concluded JAMB Examination.

ii. Must have five (5) CREDIT passes at O/level at a maximum of two sittings as specified in JAMB Brochure.

iii. JAMB requirement is a minimum of four (4) relevant subject combinations which must include
English Language and Mathematics.

Entry Requirements HND Programme:

i. Must have ND in Relevant courses

ii. Must have five (5) CREDIT passes at O/level at a maximum of two sittings as specified in JAMB Brochure.

iii. A minimum of one (1) year post ND cognate working experience in field of specialization for
those with a minimum of Lower Credit.

NOTE: There will be no State Scholarship and Service (NYSC) for Evening candidates.

The Evening programme will not be open to staff of Imo State Polytechnic

Rivers State University of Science and Technology, RSUST Post-UTME Cut-off mark, Screening and Registration Details for 2014/2015

All candidates who chose the Rivers State University of Science and Technology as their 1st choice University during the 2014 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) are hereby requested to take note of the following:

i.The screening exercise for admission of candidates will be administered only on candidates who chose RSUST as their first choice University.

ii.Candidates who scored 180 and above in the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) are qualified for the screening exercise in all the Faculties of the University.

iii.Candidates must possess the basic five (5) O’ level credit passes in accordance with the University’s Entry Requirements (Faculty /Departmental) before applying for the screening Exercise.

It is mandatory that Candidates should upload their O ‘Level results and a scanned copy of their passport photograph.

iv.Candidates are expected to register for the screening exercise On-line by logging onto www.ust.edu.ng and making e-payment of Four Thousand,
Five HundredNaira(N4,500.00) only,using Interswitch Verve enabled cards,comprising Three Thousand,Four
Hundred Naira (N3,400.00)Examination Fee,Six Hundred Naira (N600.00) for Computer Demonstration Exercise and
Five Hundred Naira (N500.00) for Study CD.

v.Candidates are to note that the mode of screening exercise is ELECTRONIC. It is important that candidates practice how to use the computer especially the use of mouse and keyboard before they turn up for the screening exercise. In addition, the Information
Technology Centre (ITC) may be conducting a 1-week demonstration session prior to the examination date to candidates for the screening exercise.

vi.The registration for the Post-UTME screening exercise will start from Monday 14th July,2014 and end on Friday 1st August, 2014

SCHEDULE FOR THE SCREENING EXERCISE
The Post-UTME screening exercise will take place from
Monday 4th August, 2014 to Saturday 9th August , 2014
at the Information Technology Centre (ITC) of the University.

Candidates are requested to please note that the Post-
UTME screening exercise is as scheduled in the screening exercise slip they printed out after their On
-line registration. The scheduled date, time and venue shall be indicated in the Post-UTME examination slip.

Consideration will not be given to candidates who fail to appear for the screening exercise on the scheduled date and time.

All candidates for the screening exercise are
required to come to the examination venue with their Post-UTME exam slip printed out during the On-line Post
-UTME registration.

Candidates should note that GSM phones WILL NOT BE ALLOWED into the Examination hall during the Post-UTME screening exercise.

Parents, Guardians and Well-wishers are advised to stay away from the venue of the screening exercise
Candidates must report at the examination venue one (1)
hour before the scheduled exam time on their exam slip.

FUNNAB Post-UTME/Direct Entry 2014/2015 Registration, Cut-off Mark & Screening Dates

All applicants seeking undergraduate admission into 100, 200 and 300 Levels in the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB) are hereby invited to apply on-line for the 2014/2015 Admission.


Applicants are advised to confirm the Admission Requirements into respective Degree Programmes at the University website before login to fill the e-application form.

Eligibility for Post-UTME Screening Exercise:

Only candidates who sat for the 2014/2015 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) with correct subject combination and have scored a minimum of 200 marks in the examination are eligible to take Post-UTME Screening Test.

Direct Entry Candidates who have applied to JAMB for admission into the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB) are ONLY invited to register on-line for admission to 200 and 300 Levels. They are exempted from Post-UTME Screening Test, but they must do online registration.

The applications must be from suitably qualified candidates who have chosen the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB) as First Choice University on the prescribed form obtainable from the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB).

Applicants must also possess minimum entry requirements of five (5) O’ Level credit passes in relevant subjects at one or two sittings in SSCE/GCE/NECO and fill in the same results on-line

General Information:

Candidate seeking admission into the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta should note that they have the SOLE responsibility of ensuring that they meet the required requirements before making any payment into the University coffers. If at any point it is discovered that the candidate does NOT meet the minimum admission requirements, such offer of admission shall be withdrawn and payment made is NON-REFUNDABLE.

Admission into Agriculture, Engineering, Natural Sciences and Veterinary Medicine Courses:

In addition to scoring not less than 200 marks in the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), candidates are expected to posses five (5) SSCE credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics and Biology at not more than two (2) sittings.

A Pass in Physics at O-Level is acceptable ONLY for courses in Agricultural Programmes.

A Pass in Biology with credit pass in Agricultural Sciences is acceptable ONLY for courses in Agricultural Programmes. The University does not accept Agricultural Science in lieu of Biology.

Candidates applying for Water Resources Management should also possess a credit pass in Geography.
Admission into Management Sciences Courses:

Candidates are expected to possess credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Economics and two other Social Sciences subjects from Geography, Accounts, Government, Business Studies and Commerce at not more than two (2) sittings.

Note
Applications for refund on losing admissions offer will not be entertained. It is the responsibility of candidates to ensure they meet the minimum admission requirements before making payment for acceptance of admission offer.

Admission Into 200 Level: Information and Requirements

General Information

In addition to the minimum requirement specified at O'Level, candidates seeking admission by Direct Entry are expected to posses a minimum of UPPER CREDIT at ND or HND and CREDIT at NCE for admissions into related areas from a recognized institution. G.C.E. Advance- Level passes in any two of the following: Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Zoology/Botany are acceptable for admission into 200 Level.

FUNAAB DOES NOT ACCEPT LOWER CREDIT FOR DIRECT ENTRY ADMISSION.

Post-UTME

Direct Entry Applicants do not take Post-UTME. However, the deadline for submission of transcript is Wednesday, 30th July, 2014.


Online Application Procedure:
Eligible candidates are to access the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB) FUNAAB Admission Portal, click on “apply for admission” and enter their JAMB Number to generate and print their Registration Invoice stating their Reference Number and other information on payment of a non-refundable fee of One Thousand Naira (N1,000.00) only exclusive of Bank Charges.

Candidates should proceed to any of the listed banks (nationwide) on the print-out of the Registration Invoice and make payment of One Thousand Naira (N1,000.00) exclusive of Bank Charges using the Reference Number. Ensure the bank posts the payment through the appropriate channel to reflect instantly on FUNNAB's Admission Portal otherwise you will not be able to proceed with your application.

After payment at the designated bank, candidates are to proceed to FUNAAB Admission Portal and complete the e-application form.

The application opens on Tuesday, 8th July, 2014 and closes on Wednesday 30th July, 2014 (12noon).

Candidates are required to upload their Bio-Data, O’ Level results and UTME result or OND/HND/NCE result (where applicable) and a recent coloured passport photograph (not more than 6 months old).

On uploading of all required details, candidates are expected to first preview and confirm entries before clicking on Submit on the acknowledgement page. Candidates should thereafter print out the Application Form displaying your passport photograph.

Correction of uploaded data attracts a correction fee of N1,000 as penalty and can be effected online. Click here for details.

No complaint of wrong Bio-Data, O’ Level result, UTME/OND/HND/NCE result or blank picture will be entertained after Wednesday 30th July, 2014 (12noon).

Candidates who up-load wrong Bio-Data, O’ Level results and UTME/OND/HND/NCE results will be automatically disqualified.

NOTE:

The Post-UTME Screening is Computer Based. The Screening will hold on Wednesday, 31st July 2014. Candidates are to check the FUNAAB Admission Portal a week before the screening day to verify their venue and examination time.

Candidates are advised to undertake the screening test ONLY ONCE.
